IFEMA now boasts more than 75 exhibits each year, with 21,000 exhibitors and 3.5 million visitors. It has become a notable area of professional activity for our graduates. The amount of time allowed to raise the stands is minimal, which thus imposes a type of design and construction which requires agile, economical and ingenious characteristics.
The level of activity of these exhibits is an unquenchable source of work for a professional in this area. This segment includes the design of exhibits, information and client service kiosks, tents, signage, light reticular spaces, prefab and disassemblable structures, as well the growing area of inflatable structures.
The professional with a Temporary Architecture degree will be able to work in any of these areas of activity.
The two courses which comprise this degree are:
Firstly, acquisition of basic artistic, technical and project management skills. Secondly, deepening knowledge of techniques and project management along with conceptual and humanistic knowledge necessary to bring projects to fruition.
At the end, a Final Project which will allow us to evaluate the level of skills acquired during the previous two years.
Once accomplished, the student will acquire the Upper Level Degree in Plastic and Design Arts in Temporary Architecture.
